Ashley Thomson, with Alice’s Table Bellevue joined us on The 425 Show today sharing her amazing floral workshops. It’s a relaxing, fun way to be creative, embrace your inner Martha, and spend time with friends as she guides you step by step through crafting your own take-home floral arrangement or wreath.
Whether you’re looking to host your own private party, or attend their local events it’s the perfect way to celebrate any occasion including birthday parties, bachelorette parities, book club events, holiday’s and more. As someone who has attended one of these events, I can attest to the fact you will walk away feeling like Martha Stewart for a day!
While watching an episode of the popular TV show Shark Tank, Ashley saw the founder of Alice’s Table – Alice Rossiter Lewis share her passion for flowers turn in to not just a fun way to gather friends together for a night out, but offered an opportunity for other’s to become their own boss, as a floral Event Executive. An Eastcoast company quickly migrated across the country, giving Ashley the opportunity to stay home with her son, set her own hours and run some of the best floral arrangement events on the Eastside and greater Seattle area.
Ashley works with you to select the flowers that you would like to arrange with your guests, at a venue that suits your needs. Whether it’s a private home, or your own business venue she creates the perfect flower-filled day/evening workshop.
With a minimum of 10 people each workshop typically lasts 1 1/2 to 2 hours, in the evening on weekdays and mid morning on weekends. She brings everything you need to create the perfect DIY arrangements from your upcoming wedding centerpieces, to hosting a child’s garden themed Birthday party creating gorgeous flower crowns.
Sign up for her November 17th class, Harvest Blooms and champagne at Glassy Baby in Madrona, sip on champagne from your glassy baby drinker, while creating a gorgeous Fall arrangement. November 26th create the perfect Thanksgiving arrangement in a pumpkin at her Gourds, and Pumpkins, AR Workshop. In place of this weeks real estate tip I wanted to give a shout out to Hopelink, an organization that is near and dear to my heart. Each year they host one of the best Eastside luncheons to raise money for their organization, and this week they did not disappoint! This year’s guest speaker, Queen Latifah drew in a huge crowd sharing how she overcame her struggles of growing up without any money, and making her way to the top.
