The 425 Show started as a way to share about the people and businesses that make this a great place to live. Small businesses shape our landscape, and supporting them has never been more necessary – or fun. Today is the 2 year anniversary of The 425 Show and it was a great pleasure to chat with Chanel Smith, the owner of Smith and Main boutique downtown Bellevue.
We’ve all embraced a new level of casual working from home and not going out as much, but it still feels good to get dressed up. Whether you are looking to upgrade your comfy casual look, find some new pieces as you re-integrate with the world or are dreaming of traveling once again, Smith and Main has you covered. With a beautiful selection of clothes that Chanel has curated she strives to help every woman look and feel her best.
Having grown up in the area, Chanel always knew that she wanted to be involved in fashion and own her own boutique. After graduating from Eastside Catholic, she headed to Florida State University where she earned a degree in retail merchandising and product development. From there she honed her skills in other stores and turned her dream of owning her own place into a reality in June of 2018.
While we all anxiously await the reopening of physical stores, Smith and Main has an online shop, when you can purchase items and have them shipped or delivered for free, or you can swing by for curbside pick up if you need a reason to get out of the house. You can also follow them on instagram @shopsmithandmain for daily fashion inspiration. They show current purchase options as well as ways you can style their pieces with options you might already have in your closet.
