Today on The 425 Show was super fun chatting with my guest, Markus Kunz – VP General Director for Teatro ZinZanni in Woodinville.  Teatro ZinZanni can only be described as – spectacular! Whether you’re looking for a fun night out with friends, date night, have family in town, or want something different for a corporate event you can’t go wrong with tickets to a show. You’ll be in awe of their three-hour whirlwind of cirque, comedy, and cabaret type performances all served with a multi-course feast.

For over 20 years Teatro ZinZanni has been performing in the Seattle area, and recently found their forever home in Woodinville. Their amazing performers come from all over the world, creating an intimate, ever-evolving production combining improv, comedy, music, dance, and Cirque Du Soleil type performances – it’s truly a night out unlike any other.

Growing up in Europe and drawing from his background as Director of Arts, with previous companies such as Teatro Dimitri, Markus was a natural fit for Teatro ZinZanni. Markus oversees the three shows a year, working with their core group of performers, designing shows around each cast members nationality and performance strengths.

Their recent show, “A Night Like This” – which is coming to a close on February 16th, is a step back in time where glitz and glamour reign supreme, and the entertainment takes place both on stage and off! Christine Deaver, as Penelope Wilde spins tall tales from her exotic travels to the Seven Seas.

Performances run from Wednesday – Sunday and for 3 hours you’ll forget about the world outside and be captivated by the unique art form of each performer. Don’t be surprised by their love of pulling audience members into the fun, as they like to call them their ‘victims’ for the night. With the intimate setting – there’s never a bad seat in the house. Tickets range from $99.00 up, depending on seating. For a full list of pricing and seating you can visit their website. Stop in their bar and boutique for pre-show cocktails and shopping.

Check out their new restaurant, for a night cap – or visit them year-round, at the former Redhook brewery site The Wheel House. Enjoy a cozy atmosphere with fireplaces, craft cocktails, and locally sourced farm to table gastro pub menu.

For more information on attending a show at Teatro ZinZanni visit their events page. Stay tuned for upcoming performances while they are taking a short hiatus to prepare and build their permanent venue, which is scheduled to reopen in late November – perfect for the holidays! If you’re visiting the Chicago area check out the beautiful Teatro ZinZanni Chicago in the heart of downtown. Follow them on Facebook for their Grand Opening announcements, and upcoming children’s classes. You won’t want to miss out on an opportunity for one the best nights of your life!

Cheers!
