It is always fun chatting with fellow Windermere agents. Today I got to catch up with my friend and Real Estate Agent, Amy Allen with Kitsap County Living. Sometimes you have to get out of the 425 area and explore. Whether you are looking for a weekend adventure, a second home, or if you are looking to save some money as a first time home buyer, Amy is the person to chat with about everything Kitsap County.
I always love hearing the story behind how someone ends up in real estate. After selling their family deli, Amy decided to try a career in Real Estate. That was over 16 years ago, and now she can’t imagine life without selling homes in an area she loves! Her home is just minutes from the Olympic National Park, Mt. Walker Trail so it’s no surprise why she picked this Washington area to call home.

Amy shared some of her favorite things to do in her area. They include spending the day in Poulsbo, also known as Little Norway. One of her favorite festivals is the annual Viking Fest. Port Ludow Resort is absolutely stunning with views of the marina, golfing, outdoor movie night, and wine, dinner events. Head over to Port Gamble which takes you back to historical buildings built in the 1920’s.

Let’s not forget the food! Amy’s favorite Kitsap hot spots are Sogno-di-Vino, for amazing Italian food, The Loft for a more casual atmosphere and water views, and for sweets Sluys Bakery for that perfect doughnut.
If you are thinking about anything real estate in the Kitsap County area and beyond don’t hesitate to call Amy as she will go above and beyond to make your new home buying and selling process a breeze. Follow her monthly blogs at Amy Allen Kitsap County Living, and updated real estate listings on her Facebook page.
Cheers!
